DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION INTEGRATION CENTER
The Digital Transformation Integration Center (DTIC) is established to serve as the Military Health System’s (MHS) primary
hub for advancing digital health technologies. The DTIC’s purpose is to enhance operational readiness, improve healthcare delivery, and empower service members and their families by fostering innovation, integrating emerging technologies, and building a digitally proficient healthcare workforce. The DTIC ensures alignment with the MHS Digital Transformation Strategy (MHS DTS) in support of the MHS Strategy, and adopts ethical, secure, and data-driven solutions to address the unique challenges of military medicine.
The DTIC addresses critical capability gaps in both garrison and combat casualty care, operational medicine, and long-term recovery. By leveraging cutting-edge technologies, the center aims to improve health outcomes, streamline healthcare delivery processes, and enable the adoption of transformative solutions. This purpose underpins the readiness and resilience of the Total Force, ensuring the MHS remains a leader in military medicine.

The DTIC is a hub for innovation, dedicated to pushing the boundaries of digital health technologies. We actively seek groundbreaking solutions in areas like artificial intelligence, machine learning, augmented reality, telemedicine, and data interoperability. Our goal is to enhance operational readiness, improve healthcare delivery, and empower both service members and their families.
We highly encourage submissions of transformative ideas with the potential to revolutionize military healthcare. Beyond just gathering ideas, we're committed to collaborating with innovators every step of the way. This includes refining concepts, developing proof of concept projects, and providing support in securing formal grant funding to bring these impactful ideas to life.
